MUA - Starry Night

MUA (MakeUp Academy) - The starry night palette is one of the purchases i bought in my shopping haul, which i posted the other day. I always wore eye shadow everyday about a year or so ago, i stopped. Since blogging i became interested again in eye shadow, have used a few new brands since i started blogging in july, so when i so the mua palette on someones blog, i knew i just had to have one as well. MUA is available online here or at superdrug here. They have a lovely range of eye shadow and more with prices starting at just £1, majority of stuff is £1 and right now with any purchase you can get a free lipgloss. I managed to get one with my first ever purchase which was a mascara but i was unlucky in my home town superdrug they weren't one lipgloss left. The palette are £3 when on offer, £4 is the original price. The colours are amazing and come in pop tastic, pretty pastles, heaven and earth, glitter ball, dusk til dawn, and last of all starry night. I don't really suit the bold retro colours and prefer to go with neutral colours or dark smokey looks that i think really compliment my skin tone/eye colour. I really like the pretty pastels, glitter ball and dusk til dawn palette so may purchase them in the future but for now starry eyes it is.

Sorry its blurred.

I really like the colours in this palette, have never experimented with higher brands when its come to eye shadow and i don't see why i need to when mua do such great products at such reasonable price, i after say these are the best eye shawdows i have ever used and the pigment in each shade is really good. I used a couple of shades to complete my smokey eyed look and it lasted all day without no fading and i didn't use any primer either so i am really impressed. This is what the after look, looks like.

  2. Love the sparkly look. I want the Undressed Palette, it looks so nice. I have heard Makeup Revolution do some really great palettes that are supremely affordable as well.
