I Heart Makeup By Makeup Revolution - The Naked Underneath Palette

 Makeup Revolution are well known for their eyeshadow palettes, it's what they do best, and with it being my favourite product I'm always happy to see them bringing out another. This week they've released quite a few palettes under their sister brands name I Heart Makeup, with five coming out just yesterday. You can see those here. I managed to get my hands on the Naked Underneath palette thanks to the lovely Makeup Revolution team. 

The Naked Underneath palette is a faux fur palette with a crystal clear 3D heart in the centre. Inside are 16 eye-shadows with both matte and shimmer shades. The palette contains a sponge applicator and a big mirror, making it perfect for traveling purposes. There's a mix of neutral and dark shades which are perfect for taking from day to night. What makes this palette different to any other is the fur. Its certainly different and quirky, which I love, but I can cringe at the slightest feel of materials. Yes, I'm the sort of girl who punches an itch out of my leg if I'm wearing jeans, etc. Weird I know! Its liveable, so don't worry. And its not attracted any dirt just yet.

February Birchbox

 It's been a whole six months since I was last subscribed to a beauty box. Except the occasional Latest in Beauty box I've pretty much just gone without. I've had some serious green with envy moments whilst admiring them from a far, though. The last few boxes I've seen from Birchbox have had me gripped and wanting to subscribe, so when an email popped into my inbox offering me an unbelievable offer I quickly signed up, once again. I'm currently unsure of how long I will stay subscribed for, but with Valentine's Day just passing and my Birthday at the end of next month I thought I had earned a little beauty treat.

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara - Review

 When Benefit announced the release of their new mascara I think the beauty world went mad. When Benefit announced Elle Magazine would be giving away a deluxe sized sample of that new mascara that same beauty world went crazy, and me with it. When the magazine launched out Roller Lash wasn't even on the market. And I believe it's official release date is the 26th of this month (quote me if I'm wrong). So, this wasn't any old mascara or freebie to a mag, it was an exclusive and one I was sure I were going to get my hands on.

Glitz Blizzard Jewellery - Review

Discovering jewellery companies like Glitz Blizzard is such a treat for myself. I love my jewellery like most girls, but what stands out more for me is the amount of glitter involved. I'm a huge fan of all things glittery and anything with an added sparkle is a bonus in my eyes. Glitz Blizzard do more than just hearts with a selection of different shapes to choose from in various colours. There's something to suit anyone's style, with some really vintage and quirky pieces. They also do rings, earrings and brooches too.

StyleLux Skincare Giftset - Review

 I've had this set since October and I'm kind of disappointed in myself for not reviewing it sooner. There's various reason's it's taken me sometime, a broken laptop being a main factor, but I'm here now and hopefully inspiring you to treat your Mum this Mother's Day or even yourself. StyleLux are a brand I've had the pleasure of trying on a few occasions, and I've always been impressed. At the end of last year StyleLux introduced a gorgeous gift set of skincare goodies; Facial Cleanser, Face Moisturiser and the already popular Blackhead killer, that was already available to buy.

Lifestyle: Malham Cove

 A little bit of a different post for you today. One that I just had to share with you. This is a place, not just any place, but a place that takes your breath away when you look at it. Its breathtakingly beautiful and well worth a visit if you're ever in or near the area. Malham Cove is it's name. I accept that it's not necessarily everyone's cup of tea, but if you love country side, walks, Harry Potter and amazing views then you'll love Malham Cove. It's very picturesque, set in a small village with a corner shop, a tea room and 2 pubs. And, lucky enough, not to far from my home either. I visited when I was a tween and probably took it all for granted, but second time round I fell in love and already have my second visit planned for next month... I'm taking the whole family, in laws included - as long as the weathers on my side that is.

Fifty Shades of Grey - The Movie

 Happy Valentine's day beautiful people. It seems Valentine's weekend as been taken over by Fifty Shades of Grey. Whether that's a negative review or a positive, this film and book seems to be everywhere. On the lead up to me seeing this I was disheartened to see the negativity surrounding this film. The reviews are crazy on IMDb with a scoring of just 3.4 with the majority of the people reviewing not actually watching it, and let me tell you more than half of them were wrote before it was even released. The morning after the UK premiere I was pleased to see that they were a lot of positivity from both the media and people who had seen the film, as someone going to watch the film that Friday it was important to me that they were at least some positivity, especially for a film I had been looking forward to seeing for months. I am a fan of the books and for anyone who hasn't read it there is a story and more to the book then just sex - you can see my review here.

What I've Been Reading

 I have such a huge obsession with books right now. For the last year in fact I've really enjoyed reading and introducing new authors to my book collection, many of which have been books I've heard you guys mention so much about; Sophie Kinsella, Paige Toon, Lindsey Kelk to name a few. I've loved your recommendations, and I love a good romance so these have been perfect for me. Tmart are a brand that I've never heard of, that was until they contacted me before Christmas that is. Tmart sell practically everything from toys to palettes, bags and so on at unbelievably cheap prices. And also offer free shipping. I was sent the 12pcs Exquisite Makeup Brush set that retails for just £6.89. The makeup brushes come houses in a cosmetic bag. The cosmetic bag the brushes come in have little holders and is compact and light making it easy for travel. The bag it's self is quite stylish with on-trend animal print and yellow roses.

Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro 1 Palette

 Is there a day that goes by where Makeup Revolution don't bring out a new release? I'm not sure, but I love it! It's still the beginning of February and we've seen the brand really deliver when it comes to releasing the most amazing products, and the Iconic Pro palettes are no exception.

Makeup Revolution Lip Lacquer - New Shades!

 I can't keep up with Makeup Revolution and all their new releases. I have a list the size of my arm of products I really want and some that I'm really wanting to try - everything looks so amazing. The good news is it's all super affordable. Again, Makeup Revolution have added more makeup goodness to their line, with 4 new shades joining the Salvation Intense Lip Lacquer collection.

Fifty Shades of Grey for O.P.I

Fifty Shades of Grey is a little bit like Marmite, you either love it or hate it. It's not for everyone, but you can't deny it's popularity, which is why O.P.I have teamed up to bring you this limited edition Fifty Shades of Grey nail polish collection. The shades are inspired by the book, and soon to be film - out 13th of February. For me, personally, I'm a huge lover. I've expressed why I love the book on a number of occasions, and it's nothing to do with the seedy sex scenes in the book. The book does have a story - which, some people seem to not agree with - if you look past the sexual activity you can see there's much more to it. What Christian has been through. Why he's like he his. It's a beautiful love story and I for one am looking forward to the film. The O.P.I collection is a beautiful selection of creamy greys; Chrome, glitter and a gorgeous red thrown in to the mix.
