I can't keep up with Makeup Revolution and all their new releases. I have a list the size of my arm of products I really want and some that I'm really wanting to try - everything looks so amazing. The good news is it's all super affordable. Again, Makeup Revolution have added more makeup goodness to their line, with 4 new shades joining the Salvation Intense Lip Lacquer collection.
Depravity is a lovely cool toned purple, almost lilac if you will. The formula is a little thinner than the other shades but still leaves a nice enough coverage.
Rebel is a gorgeous pinky purple, definitely on the darker side and a perfect shade for Autumn/Winter, or a night on the town. It's such a pretty shade and the forumla is bang on. Probably the most intense out of the 4 and my favourite.
Barely There is a standard nude shade that will look amazing with a tan come Summer. For me, personally, I just can't get away with it. My pale complexion requires colour or clear lip glosses to stop me from looking so washed out. Extremely jealous of those that can pull this off because it's a lovely shade. So yeah, still on the look out for the perfect nude that works with my skin tone.
Papa, papa, paparazzi. Yes, every time I read the name my head is instantly filled with Lady Gaga. Please tell me I'm not the only one! Paparazzi is a brighter than bright pink and is perfect for the summer. Again, the formula is thinner than say Rebel but it's sheer enough to wear for a minimal look or buildable to get the shade how intense you wish. I love this shade.
I'm really impressed with these and for £3.00 each it's a real winner all round. The formula is on the thin side for a few of them, personally, I prefer it that way so I'm able to pick and choose how intense I want the shade. Coverage is great once built up, especially Rebel and all are easy to apply. They are a non-sticky formula - almost unheard of to have an affordable product that is non-sticky. Thank goodness one has arrived. Lasting power is typical lip gloss lasting power, a few hours. Those that are interested, they smell like vanilla.
Are you going to pick any of these up?
