Burt's Bees Deep Cleansing Cream - Review

 Happy Bank Holiday...

The Burt's Bees Soap Bark & Chamomile deep cleansing cream were one of the products available to choose in the Latest in Beauty' beauty awards 2015. It wasn't a product I was familiar with before hand but since choosing it amongst my 'dream picks' I've since found it's been a widely popular cleansing cream for a good few years now.

My Travels | Altinkum, Turkey

Hello everyone. Wow, it feels super weird to be typing on this blog again. I've literally not logged on for 2 whole weeks. If you've read the posts I've had scheduled you'll of seen that I have been away - I went on holiday to Turkey. We were originally suppose to go to Tunisia but due to recent events decided to rebook else where and then all flights were cancelled until late October anyways. I've really missed having the interaction with you all, reading and commenting on others blog posts, but the break away was welcome (that and the fact wifi was awful). I'm glad to be back and thought I'd get into the swing of things by telling you about my holiday and sharing with you lots of photo's.

Manchester Splurge - Clothing, Primark & For My Entertainment | Haul Part 2

Hello, beautiful people. I hope you're all well?

I mentioned a little while ago, in a haul post, my recent splurge in Manchester. I bought quite a bit and felt it was way to much to fit into one post so, I decided to split it into a a little series and this is the second part of my haul. If you missed part 1 of my haul you can see that here

Bourjois Smoky Eye Trio Palettes - Review

I'm a little late on the bandwagon regarding this product, but it's better late than never right? I recently picked up two of the the Bourjois trio eyeshadow palettes in Mordore Chic and Gris Lilac from the clearance section at Tesco for £2 each. If you saw my monthly haul you'll of seen that I thought these were slightly over-priced at £7.99 each. I am a fan of the brand but I wouldn't pay £7.99 for 3 eye-shadows from an high-street brand, especially when I can get 12 shades for £4 from some of the top budget brands on the high-street and they do a really good job.

Artisan Kitchen & Bar - Review

Me and my partner set a date, found ourselves a babysitter and decided to enjoy some 'us' time - something that doesn't happen very often, and if you are a parent you'll know these days are hard to come by. Our place of choice was Manchester. We decided to do a spot of shopping and go out for some dinner, or lunch for you southerners. Despite being in close proximity to Manchester, we've not really experienced much of the fine dining that Manchester has to offer. We did go somewhere fancy around Christmas Market period, a couple of years ago, and it was on the main high street. The rather trendy Artisan Kitchen & Bar was recommended to us my some friends and we went along to hunt it down. It's situated on Avenue North (near all the designer shops) and I was surprised to see just how much the area had changed, having attended Manchester Fashion Week with Missguided several years ago. In fact Artisan was in the very same building and back then it was nothing more than a newly built building and a rather empty shell, a building site. A good few years later and it's been transformed (see pic above).

Maybelline Color Show Polish │ Sparkle On

Got to put the sparkle into A British Sparkle don't I? I love a good glitter polish, so when I saw this I picked it up. The bonus being that it was 75p (RRP £2.99) in the Tesco Beauty clearance section and I wasn't leaving this pretty behind. It's an almost clear polish with a slight hint of colour to it. There's holographic sequin silver glitters and smaller particle glitters too. I believe it's called Glitter It.

Drayton Manor | The Land of Thomas - Family Day Out & Saving Tips

For months now we've been planning a trip to Drayton Manor as a Birthday treat for my eldest who recently just turned 6 years old - trust me when I say I'm still struggling to come to terms with the fact I have a 6 year old. My son is a huge Thomas & Friends fan, and with that in mind Drayton Manor (the place of Thomas Land) was our place of choice to celebrate at. Summer is a confusing time for us in the United Kingdom, but the sudden change in weather (we got sunshine woo) makes any theme park a great place to visit right now, and Drayton Manor is perfect for everyone of any age. In today's post I thought I'd share our day in pictures and share my saving tips on enjoying what could be an expensive day out for less.

Collective Haul - Headphones, Shoes & Bits and Pieces ♥ | Part 1

Hello people, today I am back with another haul for you. I've not really bought much over the past month, come Summer and it seems there's a lot of important birthdays, holidays and various other expenses. One thing that's been noticeable amongst the high street at late are the huge sales. They seem to be everywhere at the moment and I managed to pop into a couple of retail shops to pick up some bits and pieces.

Burt's Bees Lip Crayon in Hawaiian Smoulder

I've never tried any of the Burt's Bees makeup range before and I feel like I've really been missing out. I got this lip crayon last month in the Latest in Beauty 'Dream Picks' and I definitely made the right decision by choosing it. Burt's Bees likes to use natural ingredients in they're products and the lip crayon is no exception - with this being 100% natural.
