Safe Haven Review - Mini Haul - A Day Out Review

Firstly had like to apologise mainly due to the post being about three topics. Their quite mini so i thought had pop them altogether and it's a great way to get them out the way - especially considering all the posts have had lined up for weeks to share with you. Plus the bits and bobs have still to share with reviews from recent purchases.

Safe Haven

Katie (Julianne Hough) flees to the small town of Southport, North Carolina, to escape a dark secret that lies in her past. She befriends her neighbor, Jo (Cobie Smulders) and meets handsome, Alex Wheatley (Josh Duhamel), the manager of a local convenience store, and his children, Lexie and Josh. Alex's wife died of cancer.
Katie and Alex begin a romantic relationship. Lexie immediately accepts Katie, while Josh is initially resistant, believing Katie to be his mother's replacement, but eventually accepts her as well. Meanwhile, Kevin, a Boston police officer, searches for Katie using his authority as a police officer, and forges reports that she is a wanted murderer. Upon seeing her picture in the police station, Alex confronts Katie and promises to protect her no matter what.

In all honesty, when i decided to watch this i didn't really know what i was getting myself into. I saw the trailer and thought it looked great, but really the main thing that got me wanting to watch it was Josh Duhamel - complete hottie despite him being older then my mum haha. Josh Duhamels cheeky smile and model looks is enough to pull any girls arm to the cinema to watch his latest film know matter what its about or at least mine. I didn't really know what the film was about only that it was a romantic - i'm a complete sucker for romance. The fact it was once a book wrote by the director of The Notebook, i knew it was going to be deep and the fact my sister said to get my tissues ready. What happened was totally unexpected. I won't say too much if your wanting to watch this and haven't yet. I did google the plot above to give you an idea. But this film is heart warming, a romantic plot with family, death/loss and devastation as well as moving forward together. And something close to my heart is the highlight of domestic violence. I highly recommend this film, it's a really touching story and highlighting something that can be very dangerous as well as taking somebodies hand who went through domestic violence and saying know matter what i'm with you through thick and thin - we will get through this together.

Mini Haul

I decided to treat myself since i got £30 for my 30 ways to save a £1.00 tips from Money Supermarket - so generous. Thanks Money Supermarket. I had lunch at marks and spencers too lol. A toastie with side salad, bottle of coke and a huge slice of bakewell tart yummy. First up in 3 for 2 i got cleansing & toning lotion - A tea tree witch hazel oil it deeply cleansers, refreshes and keeps skin clear and healthy. My skin hasn't been in the best condition with having flu, then the weather changing like no tomorrow it as improved dramatically but i thought had give it that extra boost. I got the shine control day moisturiser because it highly recommends you use this along with the toner on the back of the bottle. I thought since it's 3 for 2 i would get get the night treatment gel too. These were around £3.49 each. I will let you all know how i get on.
Cheap sunnies can't go wrong at primark just £3.00 - i own way to many but you know sunglasses to me are like socks a must have. And last but not least this New York cushion to put on my bed. I absolutely love anything New York - i even have a huge canvas on my wall in the front room. Have never been but i really want to so bad and one day i will go because life's about accomplishing things and living your dreams. Dreams do come true and new york is my dream. One day :) This was a bargain £4.00.

Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream Farm

If you are from around Yorkshire then i highly recommend going here. I'm just on the border. We went yesterday for a day out and my younger brother came a long too. It's mainly for kids but it's lovely just to take your partner for a bite to eat and an ice cream of course. There are three play areas for the kids, two for the younger ones and a big one with rope swings etc for over 7 and i saw a few adults having a sneaky play too lol. I of course climbed huge hay bales because my younger brother didn't want to be alone i was dressed for the occasion with my bag and ankle boots haha. It was a pound each for play for two hours which is really cheap and you can go on whatever you want. The food was amazing and pretty cheap too - usually at these places the foods quite standard but hats off to the chef. I got a lite bite of a gorgeous chicken ceaser salad - i say lite bites but the amount i got was certainly not lite you get loads for your money. After we had done we went for ice cream which is made locally and it was delicious i got bubblegum and banoffee with hundreds and thousands. I can't believe how packed it was - despite the bank holiday i really didn't expect it to be so busy. Highly recommend you check it out - we will be going again for sure. My brothers already asking when we will be going again. Check it out here.

    6. Hey hun, yes they ask you to fill two online forms of how many people you mentioned the product to and what you thought of it. It isn't time consuming in my opinion and the more you do the more you get plus you can link your blog to them so they know your a beauty blogger, xoxo.
