Rimmel Cocktail Polish | Baby Bellini

Please click to enlarge.

I was fortunate to receive the Rimmel London cocktail colour in a flash in the shade Baby Bellini in my winning hamper of Rimmel products. I was happy to get this shade because out of the three this was the one i had my eye on. Rimmel London cocktail colour in a flash is a intense fully pigmented colour, charged with high energy colour pearls. Baby bellini is a stunning deep purple with a hint of sparkle throughout. To start off with the shades quite sheer and doesn't cover particularly well this is only on the first coat it improves dramatically after 2/3 coats giving it a lovely finish. I found that lasting time wasn't quite as good as other Rimmel polishes with it chipping fairly soon not anything a good top coat won't sort out. I was running out of top coat so i either didn't put any on or it was a really thin layer which wouldn't of helped with lasting power. Over all i think it's a lovely polish and a great shade for spring/summer. There is only three shades available in the cocktail colour in a flash collection including Shirley Temple a bright orange with flicks of glitter throughout and Hawaiian Punch which is a pinky/red and again flicks of glitter throughout. The shades are beautiful, very bright and add a pop of colour to the upcoming seasons.

L-R: Hawaiian Punch & Shirley Temple.
