Lush - Valentine's Edition

There is no doubt in my mind that Lush always make a bath extra special. From the scents of each product to the rainbow colours that fill the bath once a bath bombs hit the water. Thought a little pricey, they are the perfect pamper treat after an hard day at work, or juggling the child/children.

When I saw the offerings for the Valentine's Day limited edition products I quickly took a look online going through each product before deciding which to purchase when I found myself near a Lush store. The two that stood out to me were the Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar and the Floating Flower Bath Bomb. What they look like, what they were, and the price were all huge factors in me deciding, with these 2 being the cheapest from the Valentines selection.

Another Haul... Boots, Lush & Lindsey Kelk

It's now the end of January, the sales are or already have come to an end and I'm on my third haul of the month... you can see those here and here. I don't think I've ever spent so much, but truth be told I've picked up some fabulous bargains over the past month and this is quite a mini haul with some vouchers thrown in.

Makeup Revolution Pro Makeup Brushes - Review

Makeup Brushes have probably been one of the most anticipated items to be released from Makeup Revolution. I know I've waited in anticipation for these to be released, and I had a feeling it wouldn't be to far off after seeing some inside the exclusive gift sets at Superdrug at Christmas. Makeup Revolution haven't really put a foot out of place since they released almost a year ago. Bringing incredible dupes, high performance makeup that even gives higher end brands a run for their money. I didn't expect to much from the makeup brush range, after all what brushes are going to do the most amazing job when they range from just £1.50 with the highest costing just £3.75. But boy, was I wrong! Yes, Makeup Revolution have done it again and are on to a real winner with these. Each brush is engraved with the rose gold font we are use to seeing from the brand. They have synthetic hair, are animal friend and extremely soft, like so soft.

GHD V Coral Hair Styler - Review

It's been quite a few years since I owned any GHD's... I remember the devastation when they just wouldn't turn on, I eventually got some Babyliss hair straighteners to replace them but they were never quite the same. By afternoon my head would be insanely wavy. I'm sure there's pairs that compare to GHD but these particular ones just didn't. They soon broke too. I was in Newcastle and they worked fine, I then boarded a flight, got to Turkey and they wouldn't heat up. So, I was more than thrilled to find these under the tree at Christmas, these absolute beauts. Going 2 months without any I really thought I wouldn't cope, but I did, in fact I've only used these 4 times since getting them, my hair is in such better condition because of it.

If I Stay - Movie Review

It's most unusual for me to write a review on a film that came out ages ago. It's only recently that I've managed to watch it myself. Everyone one, and there mother, brother, auntie and dog may or may not have seen this, or even read the book, but it had such an impact on me I just thought I'd give it a little mention.

Bourjois Bronzer/Highlighter

I can't express how long I've wanted to get my hands on the Bourjois bronzing powder and highlighter. It was one of the most talked products of 2014 and I was happy to finally get my hands on it, in fact it was probably the highlight of the BBB box when it landed on my doorstep, coming it at almost half of the cost of the box. It's makeup, it looks like chocolate, it smells like chocolate, it's a kind of win win situation for me, the chocoholic.

New Look Sales & O.P.I Haul

Thought I'd start off this post with a beautiful scenic view. I just love the scenic views that surround my home town. I went on a walk yesterday with my little one in the snow, this is literally just down the street. Guess it's just a little cheery after the sad news we've had today. Anyways, I'm back with a mini haul from the New Look Sales and O.P.I - enjoy.

A Duo By Lindsey Kelks - A Girl Series

Lindsey Kelk is a brilliant writer, like on a Sophie Kinsella scale. I've only read this duo but I tell you, it will have you crying with laughter because it certainly did with me. Tess is the lead character and it totally likeable, easy to relate to and does things on a whim like me. For example; I decided the other day I was going to get my boyfriend the most amazing Valentines Day present. Yes, it's a while off yet, but this present, it had to be bought now and this was buying this particular thing quite late. It's totally unromantic and cost a bomb, which is why my other half was freaking out, but when he see's what it is he'll forgive me.

Naked Chocolate Palette - I Heart Makeup by Makeup Revolution

Makeup Revolution have started off 2015 with a bang! Not only have they released this amazing palette but I know of at least 3 more coming our way, something I'm extremely excited about with palettes being my favourite makeup item. If you follow Jane from BBB (British Beauty Blogger) on Instagram you'll get to see sneak peaks of new products coming your way before the release. For now, introducing to you Naked Chocolate, another chocolate palette from MUR's sister brand I Heart Makeup. Housed in a nice quality, fun filled case of melted white chocolate are 16 beautiful neutral shades of shimmer and matte, with a built in mirror.

A sort of Sales Haul - January Edition

This is long over-due haul, despite it being only the 6th of January. It feels like I've owned these bits for ages, yet I only got one of them today and one in the post yesterday, and everything else in the last week of December. Is it just me that feels like it's been ages since Christmas ended, despite only taking my tree down yesterday? Probably. I've not really shopped in the sales this year, even though I got gift cards, I'm mad I tell you, MAD! I popped into Boots but nothing took my fancy, I had, however, ordered some lovely bits online at 5.30am Christmas Eve when my body clock decided it was broke... don't ask! Let's get on and see what I bought.

Essie - Toggle To The Top

Essie isn't a brand I've tried much of. I've owned a few polishes here and there, and picked up 1 from Fragrance Direct a few years back where they sell them super cheap. I was thrilled to find this beauty in the BBB box (British beauty blogger dream box 2). It's a really nice polish for the Christmas season, that is now over, but is a beautiful shade for winter and comes with plenty of sparkle.
