This months Birchbox had me excited from the word go. The Royally Good theme sounded really intriguing and instantly had me thinking of luxurious items, plus the theme is bang on with Princess Kate about to give birth any day now. It seems everyone got an almost identical selection of products this month apart from the option of choosing 1 of 3 Laura Mercier samples. The options were the Radiance Primer (which went quickly), a mascara or the eye pencil. I had trouble selecting my sample and missed out on the Radiance Primer but I did get the eye pencil which I would of chose if I'd of been able to.
I was happy to open my box and find the Laura Mercier eye pencil inside. This is in the colour violet and it's a really lovely shade. This will add a lovely pop of colour to the eyes this Summer. The formula seems really soft and the pigment just wonderful.
Nudes are something I lack of in my nail polish collection - just because I'm a brights and pastel sort of girl - but this is a welcome addition to my collection. This Lola Barcelona nail polish is a beautiful light lilac going on nude shade with a beautiful slight shimmer to it. I can see me getting a lot of wear out of this.
There's not a time that goes by when I don't see the raves about this time and time again. The Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish seems to be a beauty classic amongst so many people yet a product I haven't had the chance to try until now, of course. This is a decent size with 30ml of product and even came with a cloth. I can't wait to give this a go.
Lumiere d'hiver super comb prep & protect - This spray is suppose to strengthen and repair hair. It's a leave-in conditioner to be used after you've washed your hair and towel-dried it. This smells amazing, like parma violets sweets.
I'm a huge fan of Korres and was so happy to see the Korres body milk included in this months box. My skin smells so good after using it and feels really soft - I could smell it all day.
This months beauty extra was the Befine warming clay mask. I'm a huge fan of face masks but my sometimes sensitive skin only allows me to use a selected few, I'm really looking forward to seeing the difference it does to my skin and see if it's another to add to my list of go-to masks.
This months detail cards were super cute and matched the box theme perfectly. I loved the theme and the contents - none of which I've ever had the chance of trying or owning. I can't wait to test, try and review them for you guys so keep a look out for that.

I love the look of this box, Birchbox are so good lately! I like all the products in this one, especially the Liz Earle cleanser, it's my favourite! Thank you for the comment on my blog, Kate! The Models Own Colour Chrome polishes come in 10 colours, so if you like the Barry M Foil Effect, I would recommend checking out the Colour Chrome. I have my eye on the rose gold! x

ReplyDeleteIt's such a pretty colour. The shade reminds me of the new Rita Ora for Rimmel in shade Rain Rain Go Away except this has a hint of shimmer. xx
