A BIG Collective Haul

If you read my blog you'll know I recently celebrated my birthday. For my birthday I got extremely spoilt and was able to purchase quite a few bits and pieces from the shops, saying that, this is a collective haul and not everything was bought with birthday money and some of these purchases go as far back has a few weeks. I've found there's some really good deals at various shops online at the moment and I've really managed to grab some bargains. I'd like to look at myself has a savvy shopper and certainly when it comes to spending money on myself, even birthday money, I try to purchase bits and pieces as cheaply as possible and always look around for the best deals and ways to save money whilst getting exactly what I want. If you'd like to take a look at my 'What I got for my Birthday' post you can do here

You may or may not of seen the sudden surge of blog posts talking about Flamingo Gifts. They've been everywhere and it took just an handful of those to get me checking out their site and making a cheeky purchase - the 1p delivery helped and it came the next day too. Flamingo Gifts is an online store filled with retro and quirky gifts/pieces - homeware being a main factor - with many of the items having a fun twist. They kind of remind me of Toxic Fox in someways, but Toxic Fox certainly have more to offer in terms of variety. I picked up this note pad for just a pound, unfortunately, I'm unable to find it on the website now. I just love the design and it was a bargain not to be missed. I also picked up this gorgeous butterfly - sometimes I'll use glass drinking bottles to make quirky and different homeware pieces - and this certainly spruced the bottle up a bit (see below).

I can't tell you how long I've wanted to get my hands on a jewellery dish. I originally had my eyes on a unicorn one - one that I still hope to get in the future - but as soon as I saw this stag one I fell in love. It's quite quirky in terms of design compared to the other offerings on the site. I love the ridged edging round the dish and the fact the antlers can have rings or necklaces hanging from them. It was quite the bargain to at £5.75

I'm going to New York very soon and needed to stock up on a few mini's. I picked these up between trips to both Boots and Asda. I also stocked up on my go-to foundation and matte powder, both from Rimmel. I'm thinking of doing a New York diaries type post of my days there, which, I'm super excited about.

One thing I love about Birchbox are the points you can collect by sharing your opinions on each of the products you receive that month. I've only had 2 boxes since rejoining and already managed to collect enough points to get £10 off. With that in mind I decided to ask my boyfriend to put the remaining funds towards getting me the Benefit World Famous Neutrals palette (which you can see here). Birchbox, however, have plenty of offers on like free delivery when you spend £30.00 or more and free gifts. The Benefit palette was around £25.50 so, I added the Models Own polish from the Hypergel range and ended up being a few pounds off free delivery, which is where the chocolate comes in. I than got the book for free after spending £30 - The first chapter of this came in the March Bircbox, something I am still yet to read, but I like books and thought I'd give it a try - It quite a thick book.

I'm really loving Boohoo jeans at the moment, the quality is amazing and they are very reasonably priced. Lately Boohoo have been doing free next day delivery and it's something I've taken advantage of twice. I've picked up 3 pairs of jeans, two of which are very similar on the front but very different on the back. I also went a little daring and picked up these acid jeans. All in all these cost me £24 for the 3 pairs, the cheapest coming in at just £6.

I can never resist an homeware bargain and this tea light holder is no exception at just £3, from George at Asda. I thought it was the perfect Spring addition to my home. It's a beehive and there's a little bee sat on top. I really love this, a really good find and the last one in my store.

Anyone who knows me will tell you just how much I love my films, I'm like the biggest film addict and could watch them all day. Racing Hearts and Forever Love are 2 films I haven't watched but certainly had my eye on for quite some time. When I went into Tesco I had a quick look and found they both had money off, Racing Hearts being just £5 and Forever Love only £3 so I quickly snapped them up. My favourite kinds of films are fantasy or the one's with lots of romance and these seem to meet up to my romance expectations. I've been looking for a cup that's big enough to hold my smoothies whilst being able to take them from A to B in the car, and I found the most perfect one in Clinton's it's just so pretty and girly, I love the design. This was £7.99

New Look just have the best shoes. New Look is my one stop shop for shoe shopping and I always grab a bargain or two - which seems to be the case this time. I can imagine when you're all thinking 'boots in Spring' but there's know better time to invest in boots and save a few quid then now. My main reason for buying boots were down to the fact I am going to New York and I've seen the weather's been quite unpredictable and snowy over there (it'll just be my luck that it's nice and sunny now). I don't own any boots with gripped soles and the reason I picked up the one's on the left. Black Clip Side Biker Boots were just £13 down from £27.99 - still available in sizes 3-6. Whilst looking online I came across these beautiful Black Tassel Cut Out Boots and I fell in love. I don't currently own anything like these and they've been a welcome addition to my shoe collection. These were only £14 down from £29.99 (no longer available).

I didn't actually purchase Fleur De Force' The Glam Guide but did, in fact, get it for Easter along with far to many eggs and thought I'd include it. I'm really looking forward to giving this a read and I just love the cover. I hope you all had a fabulous 4 day weekend and Easter however you celebrated, and ate far to much chocolate.
