Wedding Inspiration with Lover.ly

When getting married the main focus is always on the Bride and the gorgeous dress they've chose to wear on the most special day of their entire life. There's a whole list of focuses for the Bride themselves, accessories, makeup, shoes and making sure they don't trip at any stage throughout. I've collaborated with the gorgeous people over at Lover.ly by to bring you makeup products you can use to create beautiful looks along side one of my favourite dresses from their website. Weddings are something I think about every now and again - after all every girl dreams of the day they get to dress like a princess and marry their prince. I've been in a relationship since I was 17 and not come close to planning a wedding. I'm not even engaged! The idea of a wedding fills me with dread to be honest. Don't get me wrong it's definitely something I want to do, but the thought of all eyes on me makes me want to have a panic attack nor matter how close I am to these people. I'd rather go abroad and have a small ceremony, followed by a get together on our return, and preferably by the time I'm 30 else I'm never getting married. Haha!

I think it's important to remember that not everyone has £10,000+ to spend on a wedding and that if you look around enough you can definitely have your big day on a budget. For me, personally, this isn't about having the most expensive day, but marrying your soul mate, the one your going to spend the rest of your life with. You can make a lot of things yourself and have a personal touch. I think a budget can work well within your makeup too. Do you really need a £20.00 lipstick? There's so many budget friendly, great quality products on the market now.

Swiss Dot Tulle Empire Waist Soft Wedding Gown is just $349.00 which is a little over £220.00, and an absolute bargain. It looks so much more.

With this particular dress being so soft and feminine I want to keep the makeup as natural as possible. I want the key features to be the eyes and lips. Add a very neutral shade of eyeshadow and a hint of colour to make the eyes pop, before finishing the eyes with a mascara that will lengthen your lashes whilst keeping them full of volume. I want to keep the facial area minimal and those features very soft and natural, a pop of pale pink blusher will give an healthy glow. Finish the over all look with a pop of pink lipstick.

 Total £12.50
