Summer 'sale' Haul

Tops both from Primark. The first, Light Weight Swing Cami - £1.00, Seamfree Cami - £3.00
I recently embarked on a shopping spree and treated myself to a new Summer wardrobe - when Summer is almost over, I know - using money I made from my most recent blog sale. I chose the right time, really, considering the sales have begun and I'm going on holiday soon!  Summer maybe coming to an end but judging by the news of 13 weeks of sunshine (unsure I believe this one), maybe, just maybe the Summer sunshine is here to stay, just for a little while longer. We can only hope. Right?

I for one can't believe how quickly the Summer holiday's went by. One minute my son's completed reception and the next he's back and in year 1. It literally just zoomed by, and I'm left enjoying the peace and quiet. Enough about me though. I hope you all had a great Summer, enjoyed an holiday or stay-cation, made some magical memories and just had some general chill time.

I hope you enjoy this haul. My first in a very long time.

I really love Primark for pj's and when I saw these in the sale section I just had to have them. The first item is an Leopard Vest top - £1.00 & Flamingo Print Crop Pants - £2.00.

I also picked up a new wash bag. This is quite compact, with three sections and a little hook to hang it up. This can be used for a various items but I purposely bought it to pack away my beauty essentials for my holiday. - £4.00 (also available in makeup bag size).

Another buy from Primark were these really cheap sunglasses. I always purchase sunglasses when I'm in Primark and this time was no exception. A bargain £1.00, and they come with a sunglasses case now - always a bonus. I really do want some Ray Bans but these will have to do until I do some serious saving.

I've wanted a new bag that was fairly small in size and easy to carry around when on holiday. I was on asos for so long flicking from bag to bag - there's so much choice - and kept coming back to this one. This is actually from the New Look range and wasn't in the sale but a bargain £12.99 - They don't seem to have it on the New Look website anymore but it maybe available in store still. ASOS - link (free delivery on orders £15.00 or more).

I for one were not going to include Divergent in this little haul - despite my Mum and Step-Dad treating me - I just love this film so much, and the books. Going to the premiere was the most amazing experience of my life, seeing the actors/actresses from the film and the author was amazing. You can see that post here.

Is it bad that I've never heard of Select Fashion before? Where have I been. I knew they had a shop in Blackburn Mall but I didn't have a clue they were actually online. I bought this beautiful double layer lace vest top for £8.00 - now marked down to £6.00 and available in various shades - link. Also, an Ferrronia marl pu trim vest - £5.00, link. - This could spell serious trouble for my bank card.

Everything five pounds will be every girls new best friend. They have some seriously amazing pieces of clothing, and for only £5.00 everyone's a winner - though the delivery is almost £4.00. I got this beautiful mint green blazer with added stud detail for just a fiver, which is absolutely amazing. I've wanted a blazer for so long and this one is very Summery and will look great in the evening on holiday - link. It looks much more then the mere £5.00 and the quality of material is great.

Peacocks is one of my favourite stores, everything is so affordable and I always go away with something when ever I get the chance to shop from there. When I was shopping online I noticed they had either 20 or 25 percent off. I got Cami Woven plain top for £4.80 £6.00 - link. This is shirt like material and quite sheer. You can't get a new bag without a new purse. I'm crazy about New York and really want to visit some day so me being the New York obsessive was instantly drawn to this pocket purse. I have so many bigger purses but wanted something quite small fitting to put in my new bag, so I don't take up to much room. This was only £2.40 £3.00 - link. I have been wearing the same leggings for like five years (sooo, bad) and they've finally began to show some tear and wear. I decided to pick up a new pair which will be perfect for wearing with longer, tunic style tops. These were £5.60 £7.00 - link. I also got a simple black vest top which I'll also be picking up in white for £4.00 - link.

I'm absolutely in love with this. I ordered this yesterday and it arrived today using the next day delivery - which was free, usually £4.99. I've been wanting an Kimono for so long and they make a great Summer staple. The fringe effect is perfect for festivals, which are long over, I know... but I'm talking next year guys. These photo's give it no justice what so ever, the print is just beautiful. This is currently available in white or purple for £8.00 down from £15.00 at Boohoo. - Link.

I'm a huge Very fan. I love the fact you can purchase an item a little more expensive and pay them back in three monthly payments, they don't charge APR (unless you miss a payment) or you can pay it all in one go, that you can save on delivery costs by picking up items at your local collect+ - which I did with this one - and they also give you little freebies. I've been using Very for about a year now, probably longer, maybe even two and it's a great little site. I recently picked up a skort for just £12.50 in the sale, this is a must have item it seems as everyone were saying in the reviews it goes out of stock quickly so I guess I was one of the lucky ones. The material is just lovely and the print is so pretty. These can be worn fancy at a wedding or dressed down with casual wear - there's also a matching top. This unfortunately isn't available anymore but there's similar ones in the Love Label skort range - link.

I recently treated myself to a few new books, again - I've also got loads of freebies off Amazon for Kindle. I find sometimes books can be cheaper in paper form at the local supermarket then Amazon. These two were 2 for £7.00 from Tesco. I got Mellisa Hill A Gift To Remember and Jodi Ellen Malpas One Night: Promised.

My skin is in such bad condition at the moment, I have had blemish after blemish and I have breakouts on my face. I decided to get a few items from the Simple range, the moisutrising facial wash and toner - £1.78 for the facial wash link and £1.63 for the toner link - both from amazon.

This lipstick is a freebie from Very, an exclusive Love Label freebie.

Have you done any shopping recently? I'd love to see your hauls. Leave your links in the comment box below.

    1. The weather hasn't been to bad since Summer's coming to an end. I'm liking the nights getting darker earlier though. I've had a really good Summer, just looking forward to my holidays now though. I've not done much blogging throughout August, just been spending time with my family really and right so because the Summer was over before I knew it xx
