My Summer Favourites ☼

Now that Summers finally graced the British shores and given us a little sunlight and warmth I thought rather than share with you a monthly favourites I'd do a Summer one instead. Now, I'm a bit of a plain Jane when it comes to swapping my makeup round and don't do enough to justify a monthly favourites but, this is the next best thing, a peak into what I've been loving over the last couple of weeks/months and will do right into and probably beyond Summer.

I've been using the ultimate blends shampoo and conditioner for months now, and it's a shampoo and conditioner I've repurchased on several occasions. It's very inexpensive and I usually grab it on offer (about £2 per 400ml bottle) from my local Asda. They have various types depending on what suits your hair type and I find myself going for the one with coconut oil and cocoa butter. These particular one's are best suited for dry hair and to control fizz, something I don't really suffer with but picked up anyways. I fell in love with the coconut scent in all honestly and it really reminds me of Summer. Since using this shampoo and conditioner I've felt a real difference in my hair, it's in much better condition and looks and feels much more healthier plus, I don't feel the need to wash my hair as much as I use to.

I've had this for well over a year now and it's not something I reach for to much but, with the heat being like it is lately I thought I'd give my hair a little more tlc than usual. It keeps my hair feeling so, so soft and super moisturised.

Soap & Glory are definitely my go-to body products when it gets to Summer... everything smells so amazing and I could just bath myself in the stuff. Sugar Crush is definitely my body scrub of choice. It smells amazing. I find it rids me of any dry patches and leaves my skin feeling silky smooth. Butter Yourself Body Cream is just gorgeous. I find it sinks in almost instantly and leaves my skin smelling beautiful. This pair are the dream duo.

Nivea In-Shower Body Moisturiser is a really thin body milk, that's super moisturising and smells divine. I mix and match my body/skin care and use this instead of the body cream every now and again. It really moisturises the skin whilst keeping it smelling lovely and is a quick fix me up for those days that I'm short for time.

Another product I'm totally obsessed with is the Vanilla Brulee shower gel. This smells so, so good. I know it's part of the Christmas range at The Body Shop and it's limited edition but I find it's one of those scents that are sweet and kind of summery. I really wish it was sold all year round so I could repurchase. It's like Summer in a bottle.

A must-have is definitely sun cream. I've used this a lot over the past few weeks and it's definitely been necessary. If need be I steal the kids factor 50 too. I use sun protection whenever I can and make sure it's in every foundation I purchase. Garnier and Nivea are my go-to brands.

I rediscovered a lipstick amongst my stash and I love it. It's such a beautiful pink shade and well pigmented. It's gorgeous for Summer and I find it really suits my skin tone so well. This lipstick is from the Rimmel Lasting Finish for Kate Moss in the shade 05. It's a really warm pink with an hint of red.
