I ♥ Makeup | Go! to the City - Swatch Post

Yesterday I introduced the newly released Fast Love palette by new brand I ♥ Makeup, if you didn't see it you can here. Apart from the theme palettes they also released various other palettes in different shapes and sizes, one being Go! to the City. Go! to the city is part of the Go! collection. There's four palette's to choose from. These retail for £6.49 each.

Swatched with flash on.
Go! to the City comes with everything you need to take on the go. There's 2 blushes, 1 highlighter and 6 beautiful eyeshadows. I was pleasantly surprised at how well these swatched and incredibly impressed with the pigmentation, especially the white which completely shocked me being the one shade that doesn't tend to show very well with my skin tone. The blushes have great colour pay off and can be built up depending on how intense you want the shade to show, a little does go a long way and these could be used for eyeshadows too.

No flash.
Others from the Go! collection are Go! Palette which is very similar in design to the Go! to the City palette with a contour blush, bronze and highlighter. Rather then being bold in colour this is more suited to those who prefer a more natural look. The other two available are Go to Heaven (nudes) and Go to Hell (gothic) which contain a mixture of eyeshadow shades. You can purchase these here.

  1. These look cute! I'd be a little concerned using the blushes as perhaps they wouldn't go evenly on to the brush with being narrow, do you think that would be a problem? Xx

    1. I used my fingers to swatch the products so I'm not sure. I don't see why it should be a problem but I'll do a review soon, so keep an eye out for that xx

  2. Oooh this is pretty, there are some lovely shades in it! I love that it's round, too, a little bit unusual for a palette :)
