Enjoying Nature

Pendle Hill.
This weekend (26-27th of May) my in laws came down and we took a couple of trips out. You will have seen previous posts about these places but my in laws have never been so I thought it would be lovely to enjoy the fresh air, revisit these places and show the in laws some fabulous country side surrounding where I am from. On Saturday we took a trip to Pendle Hill, Barley (the second time in a week) and on the Sunday we again went to Bolton Abbey near skiptop and to the Yorkshire Dales ice cream parlour - though you've seen these areas before on my blog, I again took some great photos and thought I'd share our weekend, in photos with you.

The start of Bolton Abbey.

Pretty groovy money tree. Me and my sister added a penny for luck :)

My dream home.

Another Easter egg from the in laws.
I cooked more brownies for the family.

All photo's are taken by me. Please do not take them,
if you wish to use them send me an email which can be found above in the contact tab.

    1. It was. They were a very light shower at Bolton Abbey but it was so light, you hardly noticed it :) x

  2. The place looks beautiful, I'd love to go for a really long walk in the countryside to take in the scenery.

I love the outdoors and visiting new places, but the weather usually puts me off!

    1. The weather is so unpredictable at the moment. Most day's it's a question of 'do I or don't I?' now a days we just take the risk and it usually pays off - even if it is a little chilly! :) xx
