I decided to go on a bit of a spree yesterday. I didn't go out with the intention of purchasing anything, but the opportunity arose and I took full advantage of what the shops had to offer. I live in a town where the shops are quite awful and not really suited to myself, personally, and certainly, don't have a Primark or H&M. I'm not one to spend much if anything at all on myself and I tend to spend most shopping sprees treating the kids so it was quite nice just to think about myself for a change. Although I did finish the day off feeling guilty despite not purchasing one item at full RRP and everything being in the sale or on offer or just very very cheap. So let's get down to what I picked up...
First stop was H&M. H&M are one of my favourite stores for both myself and for the kids. Everything is so reasonably priced and of really good quality and when you find anything in the sale it's practically for next to nothing. I picked up this jumper for £5.00 down from £8.99. It says on the receipt that it's orange, but I'd definitely say it's more on the beige side with a slight undertone of a colour I'm still trying to work out. It's of really good quality for the price. I also picked up this basic striped jersey for £3.00 down from £7.99. I'm obsessed with stripes right now and feel stripes are very flattering on my frame. I managed to save a total of £8.98.
I don't tend to purchase much clothing from Primark and if I do it's usually because it's something really really special and of a great price. My essentials from Primark are usually pj's, socks and slippers - so comfy. I'm also majorly obsessed with the Homeware section. Slippers - £4. Socks - £3. Pineapple Candle - £3.50. Bobbles - £1. Tee - £3 down from £4.
I went to New Look and picked up this slightly oversized Oriental Bird top. It's not something I tend to go for but I really like the print and think it's really pretty, plus it's got a sprinkle of glitter on some of the flowers too. This was £5 down from £9.99. Going to New Look and leaving without any shoes is something that doesn't happen often, which is why it didn't happen this time either. I got these pointy faux suede ankle boots for £10 down from £27.99. I saved £22.98

I'm not too far off my due date now and I wanted to find something comfortable to travel home in from the hospital. I went on the Very website and tracked down this pair of Joggers and I couldn't resist getting the matching Jumper-tee. These are super cosy and perfect for both lounge-wear or even exercise. Embroidary is really in for SS/17 and is all over the highstreet right now. These are currently in the sale at £19.50 each down from £28 each.
I also picked up this Limited Edition River Island Snake Print Weekend Bag to use for my hospital bag. My original holdhall wasn't quite big enough, but I found this one to be quite roomy and fits everything I need inside. It's quite pricey at £70 but really good quality and something I'll be able to use again and again due to the style and design of it. I picked mine up for £49 from Very.
These aren't really part of my haul but I decided to include them anyways. I was lucky enough to win a competition over Valentine's. I've not entered any in a while and I use to enter them often and win the majority, so I honestly didn't expect to win this one after not entering any for such a long time. I won this bag from Nica - £45 and some Lingerie from Wacoal. I won the Chrystalle loungewear set which consists of the White Tee Top - £88 and Shorts - £35. I love everything so much, especially the bag and have been using it nonstop since receiveing it.
