Burt's Bees Deep Cleansing Cream - Review

 Happy Bank Holiday...

The Burt's Bees Soap Bark & Chamomile deep cleansing cream were one of the products available to choose in the Latest in Beauty' beauty awards 2015. It wasn't a product I was familiar with before hand but since choosing it amongst my 'dream picks' I've since found it's been a widely popular cleansing cream for a good few years now.

The cream cleanser with natural soap bark claims to deeply cleanse, removing dirt, excess oil and makeup. The 100% natural cleanser is also formulated with Chamomile and Aloe to gently soften the skin and a hint of menthol known for it's soothing and cooling properties. The result is skin that looks naturally healthy and fresh.

I've been using this product for a while now and I really, really like it. I found that it removes my makeup perfectly, and in the process leaves my face feeling thoroughly cleansed and fresh. I'd advise you not to put the product to close to your eye area because the menthol is strong and I find my eyes become watery. I don't tend to suffer much from excess oil, but I find the most oily area is around my t-zone and I didn't really notice much of a difference, either that or I just didn't pay that much attention. The menthol is an added bonus due to the fact it leaves my skin feeling ever so fresh and the freshness just adds to the cleanliness. Most retailers charge £11.00 (cheaper if you look around) and for 170g that's not bad at all. You get quite a bit for your money considering you only need the smallest amount of product.

This is available to purchase at quite a few retailers, where prices vary.

  1. I bought this a few weeks ago but still have yet to finish the cleanser I already have. It sounds amazing though and I can't wait to open it!

  2. I got this in a mini of a Burt's Bees try it kit years ago and loved the smell! I definitely should pick it up again!
