Too Faced La Crème Lipstick in Bumbleberry - Review

Too Faced are a brand I see regularly on blogs, yet one I haven't really had the pleasure of trying. I managed to pick up a couple of lip products at late and one of those were the La Crème, from Sephora, which I got when I was back in New York almost 2 months ago now. Hasn't time flown by? I love the look of their eyeshadow palettes, they look quite the novelty and I'm really wanting to try their Better Than Sex Mascara which seems to be a must-have.

Not going to lie, this isn't true to colour in the slightest. The colour sticker indicates something much more purple and darker in comparison to the swatch, which is why I'm really glad I swatched it in Sephora, because I'd of never picked it up if it was true to the sticker shade. In reality it's a really pretty, berry lipstick, that's got a slight brown/red tone to it - and it's rather flattering on my pale skin tone. It's got a satin finish, that's creamy and super moisturising. This shade, Bumbleberry, is a better than lips shade, but on a grander scale. This particular shade is pigmented but not overly and lasts around 2-3 hours, but will also vary depending on when you eat and drink. I really like this lipstick, and even though I'd put it in a Autumn/Winter category I think it could definitely be used all year round.

These are available in 22 shades and cost £15/$22 each.

  1. This is such a pretty colour and you're right to swatch it first before buying it! It looks very moisturising too. :)
