Stila 'in the light' palette - Review

This beautifully stunning in the light eye shadow palette by Stila is in no way a newbie and wasn't one for my wish list either, but after seeing the swatches on Zoe' (Zoella's blog - here ) I was sold and quickly picked it up from Feel Unique -  link - using a voucher I won. I haven't looked back since. Inside are ten gorgeous shades that can be applied wet or dry, 4 are matte and 6 shimmer. In the light comes with a smudge stick in damsel, which is a waterproof eyeliner. The palette it's self comes in sturdy cardboard packaging, and closes using a magnet - which stays closed nicely. Inside is a mirror of a really good size.

I wear the shades dry and they are so pigmented, I'm really impressed. They blend well, don't crease and last all day - even without a primer. I don't tend to work well with matte shades and really find they lack good pigmentation, but with this palette the matte's show up completely fine.

Inside comes a little book with looks you can create using the palette. I love this little addition and I've used it on many occasions. It's also given me many tips on applying eyeshadow a certain way.

A little more expensive them most palettes at £25.00, but it's such a good palette.

    1. One time I'd find nude palettes the most boring, now a days I can't get enough. This is my go-to palette at the moment, so so pretty xx

  4. So pretty, I think I actually prefer the colours in this to my Naked palette - they seem a bit more 'nude' and wearable for me as I always go for a very light and neutral eye. It's brilliant that you get an eyeliner, too :)

  6. Cute packaging and beautiful shades (which actually remind me a little of the original Naked Palette). So cool that they also give you a little booklet x
