Sleek | Lipstick in Russian Roulette - Review

Lip swatches weren't done due to not feeling comfortable at time of

I was very fortunate that Boots had a deal on where they were offering this for free along with the purchase of any Sleek product. I was a newbie to Sleek at the time and was happy to try a lipstick from the brand along with a palette.

Russian Roulette is a deep almost off wine looking red. Perfect for Autumn/Winter and, I imagine, suits most skin tones including us pale people. This is a matte lipstick but not drying in anyway, in fact it's surprisingly non-drying and very moisturising. I find that with some Matte lipsticks they're so drying, it can feel a little like having kids paint caked on your lips and have a dried, quite cakey feeling but this is the complete opposite and is a dream to wear. It lasts well - I'm impressed. Also Russian Roulette is a great high street dupe for MAC' Russian Red and a steal at £4.99. The packaging is very minimal and lives up to the brands name 'sleek' and modern whilst being stylish. It could well pick up makeup quite easily with it having a matte effect packaging but I've had no problems.
