Makeup Revolution are certainly not afraid to push the boat out when it comes to experimenting with shades. The new shades from the Atomic collection are really going to be hit and miss, a little bit like Marmite, you'll either love them or hate them. The shades that are available are great for those who like to experiment, and these will be a welcome addition to any makeup artists collection. With Halloween just around the corner these will look amazing teamed with another new member of the Makeup Revolution family. The Give Them Nightmares palette.
Atomic Ruby and Make It Right are my firm favourites amongst the five. Atomic Ruby is such a lovely shade, a brighter then bright red with a 50's feel, and I imagine will be the bestseller amongst the 5. Make it right is just the perfect purple for Autumn and Winter, it adds a lovely warmth to your makeup. I was quite surprised by Make Me Tonight. I expected this to be a really dark plum shade but was surprised to find it was a brown heading towards black. This shade disappointed me the most and I found the lipstick to be quite sheer on my lips. I really love Atomic Serpent, it's such a lovely green with a beautiful shimmer. It doesn't suit my pale skin tone but many people, I think, will pull this off. Make Me Magnificent didn't show to well on my lips, but in certain lights it's got a lovely metallic glow about it.
